Ginger

CEO / Principal Designer

Ginger is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in interior design and design-build, bringing a wealth of knowledge, formal education, and a strong passion for her craft. The studio evokes creative energy that infuses her work, allowing her to form deep connections with her exclusive clients, often learning their most cherished secrets to create truly personalized designs.

Throughout her career, Ginger has been featured in prestigious publications like Modern Lux Magazine, Discover Magazine, Kitchen & Bath Magazine, and California Homes Magazine, among others. She is not only a designer but also the owner of Seaside Drafting & Design, where she applies her drafting/design skills to develop construction documents for homes and other spaces, ensuring they meet city approval for development. Additionally, she co-owns Design Coach Collective, a venture dedicated to nurturing the next generation of interior designers.

Ginger’s influence extends to academia, where she serves as a college professor in the architecture department, sharing her knowledge and expertise with aspiring designers. She also gives talks on design and build, and has served on the board of the Southern California National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA). Her academic achievements include a Master’s Degree in the Built Environment with an Emphasis in Sustainability from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.

Ginger has cultivated a family-oriented company culture, ensuring that every client has a memorable and lasting experience. Her versatility in design allows her to adapt to any style, and she remains deeply involved in every project, striving for perfection in all her work.

Emerson

Jr. Designer / 3D Designer

Emerson who has been with the Firm since 2020 is our Junior Desinger as well as head of our 3D Department and works closely with our Real Estate Agent Partnership Program. Emerson comes with years of experience in assisting in all aspects of interior design, graphics, and movie motion. Emerson is also proficient in making all the designs come to life by creating 3D spaces. Emerson is finishing is BA degree at Long Beach University.

Cassy

Architectural Drafter

Cassy's journey into design and construction began in 2019 when she took on the challenge of a full remodel of her own primary bathroom, despite having no prior knowledge or experience in the field. Her background as an Avionics Technician in the U.S. Navy, where she served for 5 1/2 years, has significantly shaped her work ethic, leadership abilities, and technical mindset. Throughout her service, her travels sparked a passion for creativity and artistic pursuits, leading her to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design.

To further enhance her expertise, Cassy is currently pursuing a Master of Construction Management and a Master of Architecture. Her proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, VRay, and Enscape makes her a versatile asset to any design team. As an active member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and IIDA (International Interior Design Association), she remains engaged with the industry's latest trends and standards. Cassy's meticulous attention to detail ensures that she delivers the highest quality in every project she undertakes.

Dorian

Warehouse & Delivery Manager

Dorian has been with the team since 2005 and has moved up in the company. He is well diverse in the procedures on a jobsite and has an active role in support when on site. This year he took lead roles in our tile installations as well as support role in cabinet installation. Dorian is also our warehouse and delivery operations manager. GR Designs has a high standard of excellence and Dorian is always making sure to qc all products and get them to where they need to be safely and on time. On Dorian’s free time he is active in water polo, surfing, and outdoor activities.

Kiara

Director Seaside Cabinetry

Kiara comes from a Military background, serving 9 years in the U.S. Navy. Kiara has years of knowledge in the fields of Administration, Project Management, and Operations Management while serving in the Military. Kiara started her Interior Design journey in 2021 when she discovered that her passion for not only design but also construction came through her experience of flipping homes and helping others design their spaces. Kiara adds her background and knowledge to our team as our outside sales director. Kiara has finished her Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design and is continuing her education to receive her Masters Degree. Kiara outside of work enjoys connecting with people as well as being a mother to her son.
